How We Support Districts
School-based McKinney-Vento liaisons play an essential role in identifying students, protecting educational rights, and coordinating school-based services.With Open Arms extends that support into the community by addressing housing barriers, family stabilization, and resource coordination that often require sustained engagement beyond the school setting.
Our team works directly with referred families to assess needs, develop individualized stabilization plans, navigate housing resources, coordinate supportive services, and provide ongoing case management as families work toward long term stability. This collaborative approach allows school staff to remain focused on student success while families receive the personalized support needed to overcome barriers outside the classroom.
