With Open Arms provides coordinated support for children, youth, and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Families experiencing homelessness often face urgent decisions with limited resources and few places to turn. With Open Arms provides hands on housing navigation and crisis response, helping families identify safe housing options, overcome barriers, coordinate with landlords and service providers, and access the resources needed to move from crisis toward lasting stability. Our goal is not simply to address an immediate housing need, but to help families build a stronger foundation for the future.

Housing is only one piece of a family's journey. Through individualized case management, With Open Arms partners with each household to identify strengths, remove barriers, and develop practical plans that support long term stability. From connecting families to community resources and benefits to providing ongoing encouragement and advocacy, we walk alongside families as they build a pathway toward independence.

Educational Advocacy and School Stability

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to succeed in school, regardless of where they sleep at night. With Open Arms works closely with families and school district partners to reduce barriers caused by housing instability, strengthen school attendance, and promote educational success. Through McKinney Vento advocacy, school coordination, and family support, we help students remain connected to learning while empowering parents to advocate for their children's educational journey.

Pathways to Economic Stability

Lasting stability requires more than housing. With Open Arms connects youth and families to employment readiness, financial capability resources, workforce opportunities, internships, and community partnerships that strengthen self sufficiency and confidence. By helping families build practical skills and meaningful opportunities, we support long term economic stability and brighter futures.

Internship and Leadership Development

The With Open Arms Leadership Journey™ prepares emerging leaders through mentorship, hands on learning, community engagement, and reflective leadership experiences. Participants gain practical nonprofit experience while developing confidence, communication skills, and a heart for service. More than an internship, the program equips young leaders with the tools, relationships, and purpose needed to create meaningful change in their communities.
